High Water Farm

High Water Farm is a family owned and operated farm in the community of Holmes Flat on the bank of the Eel River in Humboldt County. Born in the 70’s counterculture of Mendocino county and raised in a traditional agricultural town in Arizona on the Mexican border, Chrystal Ortiz draws inspiration from her unique perspective on cooperative living, seasonal rhythms and regenerative techniques. Noah Beck was raised in rural Amish country in Ohio where gardening and local food production were an integral part of his early childhood. Noah and Chrystal have lived in Humboldt County raising their two children and growing medicinal cannabis for over twenty years. From rural clandestine patches to their small mountainside homestead 215 garden, they are proud to be dry farming cannabis, flowers and vegetables in the full sun and native soil on the banks of the Eel River.
